Lagos state police command has released six and detained two of singer Davido’s eight domestic staff that were initially invited for questioning over the singer’s 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi’s death.
YabaleftOnline reported yesterday that eight domestic staff working as minders to Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, were invited to the station to give their own account of what happened. Read here.
The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed this to newsmen, said,
“Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet. If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest”.
In an updated development, a source revealed that following serious interrogation, six of the domestic staff have been released while the chef and the nanny have been detained.
